Meta adds custom spaces feature to Muse AI

Meta is introducing a new feature called “spaces” that lets users build custom, app-like experiences within its Muse AI assistant. These spaces can be designed as shopping hubs, school dashboards, music trackers, trivia games, and other interactive tools that function directly inside the application.

If a space is connected to a relevant app, Muse will automatically update pricing, dates, and other data in the background. According to Meta, users can create a new space by describing it and then refine the design by continuing to chat with the AI, while also checking off items, adding notes, or making edits.
Users are able to pin these spaces to the sidebar of the Muse app, move them into a main tab, or set a schedule for when they appear. Meta says, “For example, keep your weekly planner up front during the workweek, then swap it for your weekend plans on Saturday.”
The company is currently rolling out spaces to all Muse users alongside a “specialized” version of its Muse Wonder AI model. Meta also noted that it is investigating methods for users to share their created spaces and collaborate with others.
