Australian coach Darren Cahill, 61, is set to depart Jannik Sinner’s team at the conclusion of this year. Cahill joined the Italian player’s camp in June 2022, a time when Sinner was ranked just outside the world's top 10 and had yet to advance past a Grand Slam quarter-final.

During his tenure, Cahill worked alongside Italian coach Simone Vagnozzi to help Sinner achieve five Grand Slam titles. The 25-year-old player held the world number one position for 95 weeks, according to reports.
Sinner has been sidelined by injury since securing his second consecutive Wimbledon title in July, a period that allowed Alexander Zverev to surpass him in the global rankings. The player is scheduled to resume competition at the Six Kings Slam in Saudi Arabia next month.
Magnus Norman, a Swedish coach known for his long-term partnership with the retired Stan Wawrinka, is confirmed to join Sinner's team for the upcoming season. Cahill had initially intended to conclude his role at the end of 2025, but reached an agreement with the player during Wimbledon regarding his departure.
Reflecting on their partnership, Sinner said: "Darren has been an incredibly important part of my journey." He added: "Together with Simone and the whole team, we have achieved things I dreamed of growing up. He has helped me grow both as a player and as a person, and his guidance will stay with me throughout my career."
